PURPOSE:To obtain a data processor enabled to specify a bug position and debug the bug by gradually converging and narrowing the bug position on the basis of the number of execution cycles. CONSTITUTION:When a debug mode key is depressed and a start address SA is inputted by using a start address key, the SA is set up in an SA comparator. Subsequently, an end address EA is inputted and set up in an EA comparator. The number of times of proposed execution of routines generated for a period from SA to (EA+1) is inputted by a key and set up in a comparator. The number of times of execution of real routines is compared with the proposed number of times of execution, and if both the values are inconsistent and the address is turned to the succeeding address, an interruption is generated and the trouble is informed to an operator through a data display device 3. |
