PURPOSE:To simplify a device so as to prevent the generation of its trouble and easily manufacture the device, by fitting a cylindrical retainer, in which holding holes of rollers are provided in a position corresponding to each roller groove at a prescribed tilt angle with the axial line direction, into a cylindrical housing on the internal peripheral surface of which at least two stripes of the roller grooves are provided. CONSTITUTION:If a shaft 13 is normally or reversely rotated by a motor 17, each roller 3 is turned by frictional resistance with the shaft, here each roller, being arranged holding a prescribed tilt angle theta with the axial line direction, causes its turning effect to act as the force of transferring a nut member 1 in the fixed direction on the shaft 13, smoothly moving the nut member to the right or left on the shaft, and a tenter arm 16 mounted to a nut part is turned in the required direction so as to perform the expected tentering. In such way, because of arranging grooves provided on the internal peripheral surface of a housing in a simple shape and a less quantity while decreasing also a number of the rollers to be used further eliminating any necessity for providing a rolling bypass of the roller, the construction of a device is simplified, and its manufacture is facilitated, eliminating also a trouble of roller jam or the like. |
