INJECTION TIMING CONTROLLER FOR DIESEL ENGINE

PURPOSE:To make a Diesel engine drivable in the best torque state, by controlling the injection timing so as to cause a point where a pressure variation detected by a piezoelectric type pressure detector turns to negative from positive to become the specified position. CONSTITUTION:A pressure waveform of a Diesel engine is detected by a piezoelectric type pressure detector 1. A fuel injection timing operation circuit 3 consists of a zero cross detection circuit 31 detecting a point where the pressure waveform turns to negative from positive, a counter circuit 32 detecting a crank angle ranging from a specified crank angle to a zero cross point and a comparator circuit 33 comparing a value of the counter circuit with the specified value. With this method, a Diesel engine can be driven in the best torque state.
