An arrangement related to vibration-damping supporting elements for machines. The elements are constituted by a dimensionally rigid, load-carrying part 4, 6, placed at the machine 1, and an elastic, substantially incompressible means 11, resting against the base 13 and arranged to be subjected to pressure and sideways loadings from the machine 1 via the load-carrying part. The latter is provided with downward wall portions 9, extending around the sidewalls 10 of the elastic means 11. The wall portions 9 and the sidewalls 10 diverge in the downward direction. Hereby, the outwards deflection of the means 11 at vertical loading is limited, and the abutment surface of the means against a wall portion 9 increases at increased horizontal loading. <IMAGE> |
