PURPOSE:To obtain an objective product with high productivity by heating and cooling achieved partially in a press suitable for porducing an article in which the fibers in a line such as in a brush are partially banded together. CONSTITUTION:A moving platen 2 provided in a press body 1 is movable up and down by the operation of a handle 3, while a fixed platen 4 is fixed to the press body 1. Heating plates 6 are mounted on both platens with heat insulating plates 5 intervening therebetween. The rod like heaters 7 composing high temperature parts and the cooling water holes 8 composing low temperature parts are alternatively provided on said heating plates 6 correspondingly to the article size. When the temperatured of heater and the cooling water are respectively set at 500 deg.C and -10 deg.C, the highest surface temperature of the heating plate 6 is about 180 deg.C and the lowest surface temperature therof is about 30 deg.C. As the high temperature parts and the low temperature parts are separated by heat insulating material intervened therebetween, the temperature distribution is easily arranged and the heating plate is prevented from its wavy deformation due to temperature distribution. |
