NEW MATERIAL:Dioxazine compounds of formula I wherein X is H, halogen, alkyl, cyano ; R1, R2, R3 are each H, alkyl ; R4 is alkyl ; W is alkylene, cycloalkylene, arylene ; Y is halogen ; Q is -SO2CH=CH2, -SO2CH2CH2L (wherein L is a group which can be removed by the action of an alkali) ; D is a benzene or naphthalene ring ; l, m, n are each 0-3 (0<l+m+n<=4). USE:Dyes which dye hydroxyl group-contg. materials (e.g. cotton, jute, viscose staple) and carboxylic acid amide group-contg. materials (e.g. wool, polyamide) clear blue. PREPARATION:A compd. of formula II, a 1,3,5-tri-halogeno-s-triazine and an arom. amine of formula III are condensed.
