PURPOSE:To prevent the yarn breakage due to the occurrence of uneven draft and carry out the wet no twist spinning of flax fibers under good spinning conditions with high productivity, by carrying out the wet drafting in two stages under specific conditions to separate completely single fibers and give the aimed separated single fibers. CONSTITUTION:A flax fiber sliver 1 is wetted by a wetting apparatus 3, and adjusted to 250-350% moisture content, and then drafted by back rolls 6 and 6' and front rolls 7 and 7' in the first drafting zone 4 at 3 times of more drafting ratio. Moisture in the above-mentioned sliver 1 is then squeezed out by front rolls 7 and 7', and the sliver 1 is rewetted by a wetting apparatus 8, adjusted to 200-300% moisture content, fed to the second drafting zone 5, drafted by back rolls 9 and 9' and front rolls 10 and 10' at 3 times or more drafting ratio, subsequently false twisted by a false twisting apparatus 11 and dried on a heating drum 13 to wind the resultant yarn (Y). |
