PURPOSE:To produce an amorphous metallic strip having a prescribed thickness by ejecting a molten metal onto the surface, opposite from the cooling roll, of the amorphous metallic strip conducted to the cooling roll and laminating the other sheet-like metallic strip thereon. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous or fine crystalline sheet-like metallic strip X is conducted onto a cooling roll 1 and a molten metal is ejected from an ejection nozzle (not shown in figure) to the ejecting point 2 of the strip X on the side opposite from the part in contact with the roll 1 and is quickly cooled to soldify, thus laminating the other sheet-like metallic strip (a) thereon. After such strips (a) are arrayed in plural rows in parallel by providing gaps (b), the surface treatment is applied and further the molten metal is ejected into the gaps (b) to form the strips filling the gaps (b), thereby laminating the strips. The lamination is repeated until a desired thickness is obtd. The amorphous or fine crystaline metallic strip having high reliability and desired thickness is obtd. inexpensively and quickly. |
