PURPOSE:To obtain a composite linear motor which has high common rate and a small size by commonly using the primary side and the secondary side, and altering it to a linear induction motor or a linear pulse motor by switching an exciting coil. CONSTITUTION:A reaction plate 2 which is unitized of the secondary conductor of a linear motor is laid on the center of rails 1, on which a linear motor car travels. This plate 2 is formed in U shape of a bonding material 6 made of aluminum or the like, and enclosed and inserted by forming a partial hole at a base material 5 made of a common steel material. The material 5 and the mounting bracket 8 are secured through a holding bracket 7 to the hole of the material 6, thereby restricting the movement of the material 6 in a perpendicular direction. The thickness t1 of the bracket 7 and the thickness t2 of the material 6 are set to t1>t2, and the materials 5, 6 are axially freely stretchable in longitudinal and widthwise directions. |
