PURPOSE:To descale while saving equipment without damaging the surface of an object to be treated by pressure contacting a strip for polishing on the surface of moving object and inserting grinding agent in the sliding plane giving speed difference between the object and the strip for polishing. CONSTITUTION:A band steel plate 1 is wound on a roll 2 and moved with rotation of the roll 2. A belt 6 that is hung on rolls 3, 4, 5 and moved on an endless rail is thrusted against the surface of bent part of the band steel plate 1. A supplying device 7 for grinding agent 8 is provided in the upper part of the roll 2. Simultaneously with entrance of the band steel plate 1 between the roll 2 and belt 6, the grinding agent 8 is sprinkled from the supplying device 7 on the surface of the band steel plate 1. The belt 6 is moved faster than the band steel plate 1, and scales on the surface of the band steel plate 1 are removed by the grinding agent 8. The grinding agent 8 is recovered by a recovering device 9. |
