PURPOSE:To run a welding carriage with high accuracy and to perform welding with good accuracy by driving the welding carriage by means of a pulse motor, detecting automatically the disordered condition of the pulse motor and outputting the same as an alarm signal. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor 20 is provided to a carriage 12, and a pulse signal 100 is fed from a driving circuit 22 to the motor 20 to start the motor, thus running the carriage 12 along a rail 10. A pulse generator 30 which detects the revolution of the motor 20 is provided and the detection signal 102 and driving signal 100 are converted respectively to voltage signals 104 and 106 by F/V conversion. A voltage difference DELTAV between both signals is determined by a comparator 36. A permissible range DELTAepsilon is determined from the voltage and permissible rate of a driving voltage signal 106 by a setting circuit 38, and the voltage difference DELTAV of a compared signal 108 is compared with the permissible range DELTAepsilon of a permissible signal 110 in a comparator 40. An alarm signal 112 is outputted 110 in a comparator 40. An alarm signal 112 is outputted when DELTAV/DELTAepsilon. The carriage is thus run with high accuracy and the running condition thereof is monitored. |
