AUTOMATIC DISK LOADING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To ensure the highly accurate positioning of a disk under transport by providing a pinion which meshes with a rack provided to a disk carrier and is revolution supported by a garage and a cam gear which meshes with the pinion and turn supported by the garage. CONSTITUTION:The rack 29 is formed at the side part of a carrier 5 and has a slide guidance function when the carrier 5 is shifted within a garrage 15. The pinions 30 and 31 are coupled to each other by a pinion shaft 32 and supported rotatably within the garage 15. The pinion 30 is set within the garage 15 and meshes with the rack 29, and a part of a slider 33 is fit into a guide hole 34 formed at a side plate part 13. The slider 33 is fixed to the garage 15 with a screw 35, and at the same time a pole 36 serving as the center of revolution of a cam gear 37 is fixed to the slider 33. Therefore the gear 37 follows up the shift of the garage 15 like a case where the pole 36 is fixed to the garage 15. The gear 37 contains an arc-shaped groove 39 formed around a gear 38 and the pole 36 as well as a linear groove 40 which is connected to the groove 39.
