PURPOSE:To facilitate adhesion of threshold tape using an applicator by furnishing the applicator with a separator rod to separate defoliating paper form the threshold tape, by providing an induction plate to put the separated defoliating paper aside, and thereby defoliating the defoliating paper automatically at the application time of the tape to threshold. CONSTITUTION:Prior to use, a tape roll 14 is led in an upper edge piece 5 of a tape supporting table 3, and then fitted at the lower part followed by detention by a sliding pawl 6. A defoliating paper 15 at the leading edge of tape 14' is defoliated, and the tape 14' is led under a separator rod 9 out of a void part 10 of side plate along an induction plate 11 to be then drawn out from a gap formed between protruding pawls 12 in the direction of an idling wheel 8. The tape 14' is attached to the end part of the intended threshold 16 and the defoliating paper 15 is secured, whereafter the above-mentioned tape roll 14 and a grip 17 are together grasped and retracted, and thereby the tape 14' is attached to the threshold 16 one after another as well as the defoliating paper 15 is defoliated from the tape 14' by the use of separator rod 9 to be stretched over by induction plate 11 in parallel with the tape 14'. |
