PURPOSE:To obtain a compact and light-weight structure which supports an objective by setting a lens support barrel coaxially and movably in the axial direction via the 1st elastic member and at the same time supporting the support barrel movably in the diameter direction by the 2nd elastic member extending from a barrel. CONSTITUTION:An optical pickup device consists of a box-shaped housing 22, a spring supporting side plate 23 erected on the bottom surface of the housing 22, a pair of plate springs 24 fixed to both side faces of the plate 23 at an end of these springs respectively, a barrel 25 fixed between the tip parts of springs 24, a fixed parallel and round spiral spring 26 fixed to outer fringe parts of upper and lower opening ends of the barrel 25, a lens support barrel 27 fixed to the inner fringe part of the spring 26, an objective 28 fixed coaxially to the inside of the barrel 27, a tracking control circuit 31 consisting of a coil 30 wound round a circular bobbin projected from the outer circumference surface of the barrel 25 and a permanent magnet, and a focus control circuit 35 consisting of a coil 34 and a permanent magnet. The barrel 27 is supported movably with springs 24 and the spring 26. Thus a compact and light-weight lens support structure is attained. |
