PURPOSE:To realize the automatic and total erasion of a recording information bit by using a magnet which generates a line of magnetic force in the direction almost rectangular to the surface of a recording medium and has the width of the radiating direction of said line of magnetic force set equal to or longer than the width of a recording region. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 24 produces a recorded information erasing signal Er-A, and therefore a motor driving circuit 23 supplies a driving signal to a reversible motor 20 to revolve the motor 20 in the direction B. Accordingly an erasion head 19 is also turned in the direction B. A microswitch M1 has a contact with the head 19 at a position where the lengthwise direction of the head 19 is coincident with the radius direction of a disk 1. Thus the switch M1 is turned on to transmit a signal to the circuit 24, and the circuit 24 stops the motor 20 and fix the position of the head 19. Then the circuit 24 produces a signal Er-B and turns the motor 20 in the direction opposite to B, and the head 19 is saved from the disk 1. In such a way of control, the recorded information on the disk 1 can be erased interlocking to the operation of an input button. |
