PURPOSE:To compensate the variation of gain of a repeater which is generated from the quantity of variation of power supply current by controlling an equalizing circuit on the basis of the information of variation from a reference value of the power supply current. CONSTITUTION:Power supply current detecting circuits 9, 9' detect the quantity of variation from the reference value of the power supply current. On the basis of the detected quantity of variation, the gain of equalizing circuits 7, 8 and 7', 8' having reverse characteristics to the quantity of variation of gain of a repeating transmission line is automatically controlled. Consequently, the quantity of variation of gain of the repeating transmission line which is generated by the variation from the reference value of the power supply current can be compensated. |
