PURPOSE:To make repeating processing of a central processor useless and to improve processing efficiency by receiving a metering pulse sent from the terminating trunk side by an outgoing trunk, repeating the pulse to an imcoming trunk through a network and then sending the pulse from the incoming trunk to the originating trunk side. CONSTITUTION:A metering pulse sent from the terminating trunk side through a talking line 2 or a signal line 2a is received by a metering pulse receiving circuit 1a in the outgoing trunk 1 and the information is transmitted to a metering pulse repeating circuit 1b. The information from the circuit 1b is applied to a metering pulse repeating bus 7 set up independently of a talking bus 6 for the network 5 and then sent to a metering pulse receiving circuit 3b in the incoming trunk 3. The charging information from the circuit 3b is sent to a metering pulse sending circuit 3a to send the metering pulse from a talking line 4 or a signal line 4a to the originating side. Consequently, the repeating processing by the central processor can be omitted and the processing efficiency is improved. |
