PURPOSE:To obtain a decorated plate with a high resistance to corrosion and light having beautiful dichroic electrolytically colored film by evaporating a metal to form and treat a pattern on a base of a different metal therefrom being colored electrolytically by anodizing. CONSTITUTION:A decorated plate base 1 is made of a metal of 4a and 5a group in the periodic table relatively easy to color electrolytically, for example titanium material, a pattern is masked 2 by printing or photoresist method and then, a metal different from the decorated plate base 1, for example, tantalum is evaporated on the base by vacuum deposition. Then, the masked part 2 is peeled off to form a tantalum evaporated pattern 3 and electrolytically colored films 4 and 5 by anodizing. A 3% oxalic acid solution is used as electrolytic liquid to obtain electrolytically colored films, yellow 4 on the decorated plate base and light blue 5 on the tantalum deposited section simultaneously by oxidation at a fixed voltage of 30V. Various color tones can be expressed by varying the voltage. |
