<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily carry out the control of half brake operation, by providing a resilient member 10 for urging an engaging member 4 and an engaging pawl 8 to the condition in which they are isolated from each other. CONSTITUTION:When a control lever is shifted to a half-brake position, a left clutch gear 16 is moved outward through a shifter 23, compressing a spring 10, and therefore, is released from the inner tooth engaging gear 21 of a center gear 21. Therefore, power from the center gear 21 to a left axle 14 is cut off since the power is not transmitted to the left clutch gear 16. Simultaneously, the spring 10 is compressed due to the leftward movement of the left clutch gear 16, and therefore, the urging force of the spring 10 applies a stable surface pressure to friction plates 7a, 7b through an engaging member 9 and a ball holder 26, thereby the half brake condition is obtained.</p> |
