PURPOSE:To accomplish a reliable transfer operation by disposing a moving member of a chuck on the forward end of a parallel link driven in a rocking motion, in a transfer loader for moving an article horizontally to be stored in a rack for taking out an article from the rack. CONSTITUTION:A transfer loader 2 includes a turn table 202 elevated and guided by two supports 201, and the turn table 202 is elevated by the drive of a motor 204 through chains 208, 210. The turn table 202 is rotated through engagement of gears by the drive of a motor 223, and provided with a picker portion 26 disposed above, which is engaged with a screw rod 225 turned by a motor 229 and advanced and retreated along a guide shaft 226. The picker portion 26 includes a moving member 28 of a chuck fixed to the forward end of a parallel link, and the member 28 is moved by the drive of a motor, so that a pallet as an article to be transferred may be transferred onto the pallet by engagement of the pallet with an engaging hole thereof. |
