The invention relates to a locking device for a motor-vehicle door lock, with a lock cylinder having tumblers and with two different keys, the first or subsidiary key controlling a first function and the second or master key controlling the first and, in addition, a second function. The essence of the invention is that the subsidary key locks some of the tumblers, that a rotatably mounted sleeve is assigned to the tumblers which cannot be reached by the subsidiary key and is connected to a driver for executing the first function, that the master key reaches all the tumblers, that the sleeve is assigned axially and radially displaceably intermediate pieces for executing the second function, and that a partially effective rotation stop is arranged between the intermediate pieces and a driver for the second function.
