The device for loading a ship with bulk material packed in sacks is intended in particular to reduce the transporting distance of the packed sacks to a minimum when distances between the ship's berth and the normally required local bulk material packing works are relatively large. To this end, a filling device for loose bulk material is arranged on the sub-structure of the ship loading device, the filling device being connected to a central silo via a stationary pressure feed pipe. A storage hopper and a filter installation are assigned to the filling device. A round or rotational filling machine and/or a series filling machine can be arranged as a filling device. Transfer from the pressure feed pipe to an outside pipe fixedly arranged on the filling device is by means of a flexible transfer pipe.
