To improve the heat-insulating properties of U-shaped form stones for the manufacture of reinforced concrete parts to be fixed into the masonry, consisting of two essentially mutually parallel legs and a rear wall connecting the two legs, one of the legs or the rear wall is designed to be thicker and provided with additional cavities which extend over the entire length of the form stone and are filled with a heat-insulating material.
