The manufacture of foamed thermoplastics material making use of polyethersulphone, polysulphone, polyetherimide or polystyrene mixed with a partial solvent such as acetone, methylethylkeytone, or chloroform and a cross-linking agent which is a sulphonylhydrazide compound. The preferred sulphonylhydrazide compound is thiobisbenzenesulphonylhydrazide. The material produced has a high resistance to slumping when burnt. |
