PURPOSE:To cope with even an increase in track density by employing etching technique and leaving a recording medium on a floppy disk only to track width, and thus simplifying a recording and reproducing head and replacing a VTR head with a head manufacture by nearly the same method. CONSTITUTION:A figure shows recording media 11 and 13 corresponding to track width and no recording media are stuck to other places. Then, 12 is the remaining part when the track width is subtracted from track pitch, and there is no recording medium at this part. Further, 14 and 16 are parts where recording media are left completely corresponding to the track width. A part 15 is etched, but a recording medium still remains, where neither recording nor reproduction is allowed. The thickness 20 of a magnetic head for recording and reproduction on the floppy disk is larger than the track width and nonmagnetic ceramic glass with a low fusion point is charged. Both sides of a part 19 are cut away to specify the track width. Therefore, the head width is much larger than the track width and the work is facilitated. |
