<p>The friction linings for friction clutches are manufactured by mixing, for this purpose, friction materials, short mineral fibres and auxiliary conversion means into a homogeneous mass, and this mass is pressed into one or more cords. The cords are rolled directly on an annular disc, the disc is dried, hot pressed, hardened (cured) and, finally, its surface is smoothed by means of machining with chip removal.</p> |
