<p>The closure system consists of a moveable plate and casting tube installed through carriage solid with supporting frame. This is provided with arms which incorporate in their end zones, away from the heat concn. zone, coupling bars, with which engage with hooks associated with spring carriers, well away from the thermal gradient zone. Expansions induced in the refractory and non-refractory elements of the assembly by thermal variations are absorbed by the set of lateral springs, maintaining the hermetic seal between fixed plate and moveable plate.</p> |
