The invention relates to equipment for obtaining hydrocarbon products from spent oils or the like by distillation or rectification and is characterised in that the equipment is designed as a small, especially transportable functional unit having an electrically heated distillation vessel, an upstream filter, off-gas afterburning, process heat exchangers and an insulation shell around the distillation vessel and the process heat exchangers. Diesel oil or fuel oil are preferably produced from the spent oil. The equipment is heated electrically, especially by means of a diesel generator which is integrated into the equipment.
