The present invention relates to an arrangement for identifying the basic speech frequency or basic speech period (pitch) in real time from an unlimited-band speech signal, where the speech signal comprising a fundamental wave and at least one harmonic is fed via a bandpass filter BP and a following attenuator DG to an evaluation circuit AW. In the signal path between the attenuator DG and the evaluation circuit AW, it is proposed to arrange a filter FL whose limit frequency can be re-adjusted by a control device SE according to the frequency of the fundamental wave component of the speech signal. For this purpose, the speech signal at the output of the attenuator DG is fed to the input 1 of the control device SE. The invention is used in speech analysis systems, e.g. in vocoders. <IMAGE> |
