The drop-flap river underflow power station is used to obtain electrical energy from unchecked rivers. For this purpose, it is placed on the river bed (22) and anchored there (21 and 26). Energy flux: the incident river underflow (1) presses onto the drop flaps (18). The kinetic energy absorbed is guided onto the conveying belt (6) and, via the rear shaft (13), gear wheel (13) and a power-transmitting means (14), onto the attached (16) or external generator, which converts it into electrical energy. After the operation, the drop flaps (7) lie flat, run forwards (10), drop down at the front shaft (4), and absorb kinetic energy again. The rigid part of the station consists of a base plate (20), the front (3) and rear (17) supports, the support frame (11) and the anchorage (2; 21; 26). In addition to the so-called basic model in accordance with Figures A and B, further models are provided which are designed with different sizes and fitted with different auxiliary devices (flow accelerators; rail systems). <IMAGE>
