An oil-resistant rubber hose is described which has an inner layer and an outer layer which consist of a vulcanised rubber compound made of partly hydrogenated, unsaturated nitrile-conjugated diene copolymer in which at least 50% of the conjugated diene units are hydrogenated, or which layers consist of a vulcanised rubber compound composed of the abovementioned copolymer and polyvinyl chloride resin and/or liquid NBR. A rubber hose of this type has an improved resistance to petrol, which is deleterious to quality, and to low temperatures and is suitable for fuel lines for automobiles in which the fuel pump is built into the fuel tank and in which both the inside and the outside of the fuel hose are exposed to petrol.
