<p>The saw has a flat base plate (1) with two upright supports (2,3) in which a horizontal spindle (4) is supported, and on which the fret saw frame (5) is fitted. The end of the frame has two clamp blocks (6,7) to fit the saw blade (8). The machine drive includes an electric motor (9), toothed belt drive (10,11,12) and crank rod (13) connected to the frame (5). The crank shaft length is adjustable. As the frame is supported at one point, each saw tooth makes a circular movement. The blade is tensioned by pushing against the material. Around the saw is fitted a horizontal work top table.</p> |
