The tooth protector for treating the human body is especially suitable for direct adjustment of the larynx. It comprises an evacuatable hollow body (1), bent in the shape of an arc, which can be placed onto the front and eye teeth (3) in the upper jaw (4), the hollow body being designed in the lower part as a shell (5) and having an upper cover (10) made of a stretchable, film-like material. The hollow body (1) is loosely filled with a granular filling material (2) and has a connection (12) for evacuation purposes; it is placed onto the upper front teeth of the patient and is then evacuated, so that the upper cover fits closely against the teeth and the alveolar ridge of the patient, and the filling material represents a dimensionally stable support between the shell (5) and the upper jaw of the patient. <IMAGE> |
