The perspiration absorber consists of a two-legged folding structure 1 which absorbs perspiration and to the inside of which a self-adhesive film 2 is attached by seams 4, 5. The self-adhesive film has, in a known manner, a protective covering 3 which is not removed until the perspiration absorber is used. The perspiration absorber is pushed over the item of clothing, e.g. a shirt 6, adjoining the armpit and the two legs 1 are pressed together. The perspiration absorber is already securely fixed and can be removed equally easily after use and replaced by another. <IMAGE>
