A bleed valve (1), especially for radiators, has a bleed screw (2) and a bleed opening (5) arranged on a rotatable chamber (3), as well as, expediently, a screw-in connecting piece (4) which can be fitted on the object which is to be bled. The bleed opening (5) continues in a small tube (6) so that the bleed jet can be guided well. Furthermore, an outlet hose can be plugged onto this small tube (6). The small tube (6) is recessed inside a rotating head (7) so that it is protected and also does not impede the use of a socket wrench (13) which can be plugged onto the screw-in connecting piece (4). <IMAGE>
