Tetrahedral loudspeaker cabinet - reduces internal resonance effects by virtue of shape, wall thicknesses and internal baffles

The cabinet is constructed from four triangular plates. At least one of the plates has an opening for mounting a loudspeaker. Some or all of the six sides of the tetrahedron have different lengths. The plates may also have different thicknesses and irregular cross-sections. Various internal baffles may also be used. If two or more speakers are installed in the cabinet, their acoustic centre points lie on the same vertical line. One version (35) has curved diffusing baffle plates (36,37) on the non-horizontal edges of the face which carries the speaker.
