PURPOSE:To apply effectively this system to the case where the charge to the weight is changed at random, by retrieving corresponding charge data from a weight-charge table on a basis of a charge classifying number and weight data from a scale and registering and displaying this charge data. CONSTITUTION:A cash register 2 is provided with a keyboard 19 where preliminarily determined peculiar numbers are set, peculiar number-charge classification conversion tables M8-M10 where charge classifying numbers are set in accordance with peculiar numbers, and weight-charge tables M11-M13 where charge data per unit weight is set for every charge classifying number. The peculiar number inputted from the keyboard 19 is converted to a charge classifying number by tables M8-M10, and corresponding charge data is retrieved from tables M11-M13 on a basis of this converted charge classifying number and weight data from the scale and is registered and is displayed on a printer 20 and a CRT21. |
