PURPOSE:To efficiently and completely remove buffing slag insoluble both in water and organic materials so as to easily obtain a pure surface, by previously providing a coated layer of resins or rubbers easily soluble in a purifying solvent on a surface not receiving the buffing. CONSTITUTION:A metallic part is polished by buffing after applying a buffing preliminary treatment agent and evaporating a diluent, and the preliminary treatment agent can be applied by the method of immersing, spraying, brushing, etc. Evaporation of the diluent can be easily attained by drying at the normal temperature by air, and a coated layer is uniformly formed on the whole surface of the metallic part. The coated layer is exfoliated by a buff cloth only from the buffed part at its buffing but left as in that condition in a rough face, fine hole, fine groove, etc. not receiving the buffing. While a buffing slag, adhering to both polished and unpolished parts, is not so firmly attached to a metallic surface or a coated layer surface of resins and rubbers receiving the polishing approximately to a mirror surface, and in a purifying process successively performed by a solvent, the buffing slag and the coated layer simultaneously can be easily purified, thus a pure surface can be obtained. |
