PURPOSE:To switch the mode to a single operation mode individually, by providing a means which generates an interrupt signal when it detects that a device cannot function as a dual type processing unit because of a great step out. CONSTITUTION:A processing circuit 1 is defined as the master side, and a processing circuit 2 is defined as the slave side. Contents of the master side are optionally transmitted to the slave side to equalize contents on the slave side to those of the master side, and thus, both circuits are synchronized with each other. If these processing circuits 1 and 2 cannot function as a dual type processing device because of a great step out between them, it is detected by a change of program information of memories 9 and 10 connected to circuits 1 and 2, and the interrupt signal is generated on a basis of the result to switch the mode to what is called the single operation mode where circuits 1 and 2 are operated individually. |
