7-Arylmalonamidocephem derivatives and their preparation

A description is given of the novel cephalosporins of the formula I in which the symbols have the meaning given in Claim 1, and of pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds can be prepared by the N-acylation of corresponding 7 beta -amino-7 alpha -methoxy-3-(Het)thiomethyl-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid derivatives with corresponding aryl- or heteroarylmalonic acids or functional derivatives thereof, and are useful as active substances in antibacterial pharmaceutical preparations. <IMAGE>
