PURPOSE:To prepare easily an optical guide type isolator of a low loss by utilizing an optical circuit by which a propagation loss of a light is different in the advancing direction of a light on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:It does not occur that a main optical wave which advances in the direction as indicated with an arrow A by using a channel optical guide 2 as a main path is curved suddenly and advances in the direction of a branch channel optical guide 3. A reflected light generated by the influence of an optical contact plug, etc. being on an advancing optical path which is not shown in the figure advances in the direction as indicated with the arrow A, that is to say, the main optical wave advances along the outside wall of the curved part between a contact P and a branch point Q, therefore, even after Q, most of reflected lights are led to the guide 3. In this way, the reflected light which advances along the optical guide and is an unnecessary component can be eliminated. |
