<p>Compounds of the formula:
<CHEM>
wherein R1 is:
a) hydrogen;
b) alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, inclusive;
c) trifluoromethyl;
d) trichloromethyl; or
e) alkenyl;
f) alkynyl;
wherein R2 is straight chain alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms inclusive;
Wherein R3 is:
a) -COOR4
b) -Ch2OH; or
c) -C(O)CH2OH;
wherein R4 is alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms inclusive and wherein n is an integer of from 1 to 6 inclusive. These compounds are useful for their gastric antisecretory, cytoprotective, antiulcer, and antihypertensive activity. In addition certain novel trialkylsilyl acetylenic intermediates are disclosed. </p> |
