PURPOSE:To secure both relative position and timing between a workpiece being transported and a collet chuck by restraining the movement of said collet chuck in the direction vertical to an index table and allowing claws to be opened and closed only in the radial direction. CONSTITUTION:In a chuck device 14, the claw part 16 of the chuck 14 holds an electrolytic capacitor 20, which is transported to an automatic transporting device (not shown) in the front stage, by means of an index table 2 which makes intermittent rotating movement at a certain timing. The workpiece 20 undergoes a curling process, etc. and transferred to an automatic transporting device (not shown) in the rear stage to undergo another processing. |
