PURPOSE:To print the same document on a desired number of a sheets of paper without depressing a printing switch each time a reprinting action is completed, by providing a printing action means whereby the content of a buffer memory is repeatedly printed for a plurality of times. CONSTITUTION:When a ten-key 13 corresponding to the desired number of sheets to be reprinted is depressed, a code corresponding to the key depressed is outputted to a controller 34. When a circuit change-over switch 8 is turned OFF in this condition, the controller 34 turns OFF a circuit-indicating lamp 9 to indicate that a printer is disconnected from an external device 2. Thereafter, without reinputting printing data PD from the external device 2 each time of reprinting, and based on the printing data PD stored in the buffer memory 10 in the disconnected condition, printing papers are automatically supplied to a printing starting position by a paper supplying device in a number of sheets of reprinting preset through the ten-key 13 or until a printing switch 11 is turned ON, and are discharged from a printing position while performing a reprinting action by a printing mechanism 6, whereby the same document can be reprinted on a plurality of sheets. |
