PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the ring type pump by a method wherein the ring type pump is formed by a multi-ring structure and the delivery side end of an outside pump chamber is connected to the suction side end of an inside pump chamber in the neighboring two pump chambers. CONSTITUTION:A movable ring member 1 is consisting of the inside and outside movable ring members 1-1, 1-2 and the lower halves of the members are formed by half circles having a center O while the upper halves thereof are formed by the circular arcs of 90 deg. having centers A, B respectively and straight lines 19. A fixed ring member 2 is consisting of inner, intermediate and outer fixed ring members 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 which are formed by curves in which respective ring members are deviated into the direction of normal lines by an eccentricity rho. The delivery side end of the outside pump chamber is communicated with the suction side end of the inside pump chamber through communicating path 50, therefore, efficient two-stage compression may be effected. |
