<p>A mildew-resistant one component room temperature vulcanizable silicone composition comprising a silanol end-stopped diorganopolysiloxane polymer with a crosslinking agent, a curing catalyst, and an effective amount of a fungicide of the formula where R is selected from the class consisting of hydrogen, halogen, and alkyl radicals of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R1 is selected from the class consisting of hydrogen, iodine, and alkyl radicals of 1 to 4 carbon atoms. Such compositions are useful as molds, as potting compounds, as encapsulants and as sealants.</p> |
