摘要 PURPOSE:To attain a compact and lightweight structure of a driving mechanism for tracking by selecting properly both the setting position of a primary radiator and the direction of the beam axis to each reflector. CONSTITUTION:For an antenna mounted on a traveling object, reflectors 41 and 42 are mounted on a traveling object 43 and folded in a traveling mode and then unfolded in an operation mode respectively by means of hinge mechanisms 47 and 48. At the same time, the self-tracking is possible for the reflector antennas 41 and 42 within a plane (X-Z) which is orthogonal to a turning shaft 52 for driving mechanism by turning the bases of mechanisms 47 and 48 by means of a driving mechanism 49. In this case, a slight shift is given to the parallelism between the shaft 52 and turning shafts 50 and 51 of mechanisms 47 and 48. At the same time, the shaft 52 is set orthogonal to the axes of unfolded reflectors 41 and 42. Furthermore the primary radiators 44 and 45 of reflectors 41 and 42 are fixed to the object 43 itself so that the beam axes 53 and 55 are set parallel to the axes of unfolded reflectors 41 and 42 respectively.
