PURPOSE:To increase the converging speed by using an orthogonal function for operation of the tap coefficient. CONSTITUTION:The output of an orthogonal function circuit 22 is supplied to a coder 8, and the output of the coder 8 is supplied to a multiplier 19. The multiplier 19 obtains a product of the output and an error signal en obtained at an identifying/deciding part 7 and delivers it to an integrator 9. The polarity of the signal en is varied by the output code of the circuit 22. The integrator 9 obtains the sum for a product (n) of the signal en and the output of the coder 8 obtained by the multiplier 9. The sum for the product (n) is decided by the expansion of a time region to be equalized. The output of the integrator 9 is coded by a coder 88, and a microconstant DELTA is multiplied by a multiplier 20 to decide the replacement amount of one time. An arithmetic part 15 calculates the tap coefficient to be multiplied to a primary CR circuit. The output of a multiplier 11 is added through an adder 55 and led to the part 7. |
