PURPOSE:To control the frequency with high efficiency even with a microminiature vibrating plate by carrying out the electroplating while dipping a piezoelectric oscillator in a plating solution and measuring the oscillation frequency. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric oscillator consisting of a high-coupled piezoelectric vibrating plate 11 containing an electrode coated over the surface is dipped in a plating solution 21 down to a base part 13. The DC voltage is impressed between both terminals 14 and counter electrode 22 consisting of a plating metal. Under such conditions, the electroplating is performed. The exciting voltage is impressed to an exciting electrode via the terminal 14. Then a current is flowed to obtain a desired oscillation frequency while observing the resonance characteristics. The amount of electrode material is controlled by the electroplating to control the oscillation frequency. |
