PURPOSE:To increase the water-collecting and permeating property of a draining material as well as to prevent the blinding of the draining material by integrally laminating a nonwoven fibrous structure on a woven fabric having an one- way aligned fiber bundle on either or both of filling yarn and warp yarn. CONSTITUTION:The capillary function of an one-way aligned fiber bundle of a synthetic or natural fiber, utilizing a great capillary function possessed by the one-way aligned fiber bundle, is the same regardless of hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, and is also not damaged woven when the fiber bundle is pressed and broken by soil pressure, etc. The filling and warp yarns constituting woven fabrics other than such a one-way aligned fiber bundle can also exhibit water-collecting function, and a nonwoven fibrous structure can exhibit its great water-collecting effect and effect its great filtering function. The strength of the whole of the draining material is raised. The draining material can thus be used for draining water in roads and land filling sites to improve highly wet soft ground. |
